What is Camp Demo?

If you own a winter or summer camp our solution - CampDemo, is what you need to establish a strong web presence on the internet. CampDemo is a demo site to show you what your camp's site could look like if you were to choose our solution. Below we describe the key features of CampDemo and we encourage you to take a brief look at it, we also encourage you to go and visit CampDemo to see what exact functionality this site has:

CampDemo demonstrates you both sides of the solution - the pages that parents of your campers will see (public side) and the administrative pages that will allow you, as a site owner or a staff member, to control every aspect of the site. This administrative interface is not only used to control the site content such as text pages, photo album, video gallery, food menus, etc. but it is also used to keep track of the campers that you have staying at the camp, employee applications, and any other internal things that you may need to keep track of.

Informational Pages

The informational website presents key information about your camp. Information can be customized and updated by you via our Camp Admin interface. No programming needed. The informational website is open to the public and includes the following pages:

Parents section: Parents can read detailed information about your camp. This includes but is not limited to, General Info, Directors Message, Registration Forms, Directions, Map and more.
Staff section: The staff pages include information for current or future staff members. You can post your recruiting schedule, staff application form, etc.
Activities section: Lists all the activities that your camp offers. Includes photos and videos too. No programming needed. All the information can be update via our Camp Admin interface.
Facilities section: The facilities page allow you to show off you camp. You can include photos, videos and text.
My Camp section: The "My Camp" section is private, password protected section for family and friends of the campers. Each person will have their own logon and password to access the "My Camp" pages. Here, family and friends will be able to see pictures, videos, birthdays, read camp news, participate in discussion forums and stay in touch with the camp and campers.

Newsletter

Stay in touch with parents and keep them informed all year long. Using the Camp Admin interface you can create Camp Newsletters and post them online immediately. News letters can be published as often as needed. You may also include photos.

Photo Album

Parents love to see their kids enjoying themselves at camp. Camp staff can upload pictures to the camp website, categorize and label, and make available to the parents in the My Camp private area. The Camp Admin interface allows camp staff to easily upload and manage the photos.

In addition, parents will be able to create their own online photo albums from the uploaded photos. Parents can also purchase the printed photos. We take care of all billing and processing of photos. The only thing you need to do is catch the campers in action enjoying themselves at camp.

Income Potential: Camp will receive 20% commission on all photo purchases.

Video Album

Pictures are great but videos are even better. Post videos of camp productions, activities, and campers in action and make available on your camp website for parents and friends to view. Use the Camp Admin interface to upload your videos. You can also make videos available for purchase by family and friends.

Email

Let parents keep in touch with their kids while they are off at camp. Parents can fill out a simple form on your camp website to send letters to the campers. Messages can then be printed out by camp staff and distributed to the campers. Messages are formatted so each message is printed on its own sheet and are sorted in way which makes it easy to distribute them.

Camp Forum

Campers, Staff, and Parents can start and reply to ongoing camp discussions via the Camp Forum. This is a great way to allow campers and their families to stay in touch with each other all year long.
